Rage Tide

Between these four walls
A secret ocean
Contains a rage tide
For the innocent ones
At times caressing
And soothing
A mellow ebb and flow
Then from deep within
A fire starts
And pressure released
Explodes to crash
Loud resounding angry
Hurtful energy
Smash
There is nowhere to go
Trapped at sea
Suffering
Defeated
Helpless
Waiting for the sea
To calm down
Pray for the rage tide to pass
Soon
Fearful for the next
expected-unexpected wave
Of
Happy
Hurt
Fear
Happy
Hurt
Fear
Happy…

We Become

Faith, Hope, Charity

With these, I believe humanity

has a chance to stay alive

Charity, Faith, Hope

Sometimes shaken to the core

– a fight to survive

We become [Boston] strong.

Boston Marathon (April 15) 2013

Bright / Dark

Standing on the
edge of sorrow
looking to tomorrow

Should I just jump
and fly a little
before the end comes near?

The mist is thick
The way unclear
All alone with my fears

The horizon
spread out beneath
my every hope and dream

Where is the light –
that bright beacon –
to pierce a soul so dark?

Should I just jump
and fly a little
before the end comes near?
