The part where my heart is breaking
Is the part I can’t endure
I give up on this broken love
I want to stop the pain
There is no happy ever after
Just memories of what could’ve been
Because the future isn’t meant

oh, I want to sit and have a good cry now.
I have quite a few of these sorts of poems from my youth. some days I want to burn them, other days – there are a nice reminder of broken roads leading right to where you were supposed to be.
